How to choose an e-learning platform for your center
Choosing the wrong platform costs more than its subscription — here are practical criteria before you sign.
1. Language and direction before features
If your learners are Arabic speakers, actually test the Arabic UI: is RTL real? Is terminology natural or machine-translated? A half-translated interface raises support costs and lowers adoption.
2. Isolation and security
Ask how your data is isolated from other customers. “A filter in code” is fundamentally different from database-level security policies. Ask for a written technical explanation.
3. Workflow, not feature lists
Evaluate the completeness of the workflow you need: authoring → assessment → attendance → certificate → reporting. A half-built feature is worse than a missing one.
4. Test with your own data
Demos on generic data hide the edges. Author a real course and run a real exam before deciding.
5. Real cost
Price against actual learners, trainers, and storage — and ask explicitly what is billed extra.
